Acoustic Noise Collective
Code of Conduct
To ensure that our Monday evening ukulele sessions are as enjoyable and relaxed as possible we have a written Code of Conduct.
Aims, Objectives and Principles
We come together to have fun and collaborate in a creative process. We aim to put our own unique stamp on each song in a growing repertoire. Everyone's individual talent, experience, role within the group, creative contributions and ideas are treated with equal respect.
Be Open-Minded • Embrace a range of ideas. Everyone has a right to contribute.
Be Respectful • Listen to others, engage in constructive discussion. Stay focussed.
Be Empathetic • Understand and respect everyone’s level of experience. Engage with kindness and consideration.
Be Supportive • Contribute positively and foster collaboration.
Be Patient • Learning takes time.
In Summary
Let’s maintain a positive, friendly environment where everyone feels safe to join in, share ideas, thoughts, and feedback. Be supportive and respect individual opinions.
Be especially welcoming to any new attendees. Share your experience and knowledge, particularly with anyone new to the instrument. Ask for help or advice if you need it, be willing to give or offer help if you can.
Be EXCELLENT to each other.
